Tune in to hear about an important tornado relief benefit this Friday night at Westminster Presbyterian Church starring opera favorites Leona Mitchell, Thomas Studebaker, Jeffrey Wells, David Robinson, and a full orchestra and choir. The crowds are getting a little smaller as we move towards summer on Spotlight on the Arts. This Thursday host Susan Clark will be chatting with: Chandra Boyd, OKC Museum of Art, Friends’ Lecture featuring Sarah Suzuki—“Looking East: Contemporary Art in Asia;” pianist Wayne McEvily, Art Moves; and Collin Rosebrook, Paseo Arts Festival.

Since 1985, KCSC has been proud to broadcast Spotlight on the Arts, a weekly live interview program focusing on local arts events and organizations. Hosted by General Manager Brad Ferguson during the academic year and Susan Clark during the summer, groups from the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Lyric Theatre, Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park, the JRB Art Gallery, and many other fine arts-related organizations are invited to share information about their concerts, plays, art show openings, and other creative endeavors.
