Wednesday, February 20th

The Brightmusic Society of Oklahoma presented their 4th program of the season on Monday, January 21st at All Soul's Episcopal Church and on Tuesday, January 22nd at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral.  This program, entitled "Bright Mozart" welcomed guest artist Craig Goodman (flutist) and featured two flute quartets by Mozart (K285 and K285b), Goodman's own commissioned work "Off the Beaten Path," a fantasy on themes from Mozart's opera The Magic Flute arranged by Michael Webster and the Sonata in A Major by Cesar Franck transcribed for flute and piano.  Craig offers terrific comments about his work, the flute quartets and the Franck and we'll enjoy additional insights from Brightmusic co-artistic directors Chad Burrow and Amy I-Lin Cheng.  Also performing on the program: Brightmusic ensemble violinist Gregory Lee, violist Mark Neumann and cellist Jonathan Ruck.  Tune in at 8pm on Wednesday, February 20th right here at KCSC 90.1!
