The Oklahoma City Philharmonic presented the fourth Classics' Concert of their season on Saturday, January 12th. Entitled "Pristine Visions" the program featured guest violinist Ryu Goto who stepped in at the last minute to replace injured Stefan Jackiw and two works: the magestic Violin Concerto in D Major, Op 61 by Ludwig van Beethoven and the warm-hearted and bucollic Symphony No. 8 in G Major, Op 88 by Antonin DvoĆák. Listeners will meet Ryu and hear his thoughts about the Concerto and about the place of social responsibility in American society. Tune in at 8pm on Wednesday, February 6th!
