	  <description><![CDATA[This week Performance Oklahoma  presented an encore broadcast of the Season Finale program given by BrightMusic Society of Oklahoma musicians on Tuesday, April 20th at St. Paul's Cathedral in downtown Oklahoma City. This program was also given on Monday, April 19th at Fee Theater on the Casady School campus and celebrated chamber music for winds. Listeners enjoyed works by Camille Saint-SaÃ«ns, Kris Maloy, Lee Hoiby, Felix Mendelssohn, Ferenc Farkas and Francis Poulenc.  ]]></description>

	  <description><![CDATA[This week Performance Oklahoma celebrated the bicentennial anniversary of the births of two composers with two special performances given in April at the University of Oklahoma.  In the 1st hour listeners heard pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii perform the Chopin 1st Piano Concerto with the OU Symphony Orchestra, the D-flat Nocturne, Op 27, No. 2 & the Liszt Rigoletto Paraphrase.  In the 2nd hour the Symphonic Etudes Op 13 & Romance Op 28 No. 2 by Robert Schumann were presented by pianist Sylvia Wang. ]]></description>

Entitled Baroque, Bel Canto and Beyond, the program featured guest soprano Sarah Coburn, tenor J Warren Mitchell and the Society in arias and choruses from 18th and 19th century opera and oratorio.  Listeners enjoyed commentary from Sarah and a sneak preview of the Society's 2010-2011 season from Artistic Director Randi von Ellefson.  ]]></description>

This concert presented in January was entitled Musical Legacies and featured music by Alan Shulman, Quincy Porter, Heinrich Baermann and Antonin Dvorak.  Listeners were also treated to a surprise encore from the 4th concert: a performance of Dvorak's Dumky Trio.  ]]></description>
