Enjoyed reading these comments on your site. I was one of the first station managers when we signed on with the 10-watt transmitter sitting on a table in the little room with us. Dr. Max O. Davis was my "boss" and it was a small beginning but I'm glad to see how it has grown. Many good people have started there. I'm now retired in Huntley, Illinois, after over 30 years at WTTW, Public TV in Chicago. Happy to know KCSC is definitely "on-the-map" and I wish it continued success. John--Huntley, Illinois

hi to all music-lovers I love this station.  - James

Great to see Scott Joplin on the program. Few people realize that his first piano teacher, Julius Weiss, taught him not only piano basics, but also a great deal of opera. Joplin's playing obviously sets him apart, but there are even more layers in there than one might realize. J.C. Intellect Connect http://www.intellectconnect.com  - J.C.

Good work, keep it up  - Bill Halliwell

I am very glad to have found this website. Special thanks to Clyde and Lane for their professionalism over the airwaves, as well as their interesting (and refreshingly offbeat)choice of material. It's wonderful because they broadcast many rare performances of the greatest operas (many times with singers who were identified with particular roles, but never had the opportunity to commercially record them). Thank God there's a Welitsch Salome, as well as a Milanov Ballo, Norma, Andrea Chenier, et. al in their collection. A Magda Olivero Adriana Lecouvreur, a Bidu Sayao Manon(Massenet), and a Mirella Freni Manon (Massenet) are just a few of the diamonds in KCSC's fascinating collection. They really give me something to look forward to. Thank you. - Mark Rowell

Happy to be part of KCSC! - Mark Erickson AIFD

Bravo Barbara on a job so well done and will miss filmscapes so much-I enjoy being taken back into films-I grew up in the movie business and loved hearing the music-such a unique program-I hope the end was not because of monetary yet something of higher calling-wish it was not over-again such a job well done and Barbara's delivery was superb-again bravo! and thanks for my memories-Larry Anderson  - Larry Anderson

I just wanted to say thank you. I got my "start" in radio at KCSC and graduated in 1979 with a BA in Oral Communcations/Broadcasting. I moved to Salt Lake City and have been actively involved in radio news for 25 years. Thanks for getting my career off to such a great start.  - Charla Haley

I wanted to take the time to let you know how much I like listening to your station.I keep it tuned at much as possible. It is a nice balance to my husband's rock station. But as an added bonus since we share stations he can name many composers now! I especially enjoy "FILMSCAPES." Keep up the great work.  - Nancy Barton

Love your programming. - Nick Slepko

I moved from Phoenix which had a full time classical station (KBAQ) to the Philadelphia area which has, believe it or not, a PART-TIME classical station (WRTI)! Thank goodness for on-line radio and thank you to KCSC for providing this! Hello to Martha M. - horn player in the OKC area.  - Mark Cannon

I live in Rockville Md. I have just found your station. My father used to be in radio. So, I guess it is in my nature. I also listen to WGMS in rockville. Good Luck with the station. Larry Frost  - Larry Frost

Amazing! What a class act. Not that the station wasn't a class act in 1968/69 when I was an announcer at "KCSC, the gentle sound of FM music." After all these years, it's still one of the most enjoyable jobs I ever had. Bravo to the station and your growth.  - Dave Roberts

What a surprise! Passing through OKC on the way to see my daughter's soccer tournament in Tulsa, I was blown away by Delarue's "Memories of Me" on Filmscapes. Coming back that night it was Navan on Celtic Connections which kept me going. Can't wait to do it again.  - Mike Kimbro

Thank you very much for Manon Lescaut. It is a favorite and so seldom heard. I've turned the sound up and intend to hear every minute of it.  - Jay Shank

I LOVE 90.1 PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK  - Jamie Cruz

I recently discovered the wonders of online streaming radio. KCSC is one of my top 3 choices for classical music radios (and I mean worldwide). The music is wonderful of course, but it's also easy to access (unlike other stations) and the streaming is reliable. The greatest music ever written is only a click away! If I could change anything about this station however, I would take the News out. Most of it gets too political and local, I am in Australia, but I'm sure other kcsc listeners in Japan, Europe and the rest of the world would agree. We turn on kcsc mainly to get away from the politics and troubles out there in the world! We get enough of that through every other media! Otherwise, keep up the good work, Eli , from Australia  - Eli Vega

Greetings ! I would like to thank everyone at KCSC/KBCW, and all of the supporters, for all you do to provide a rich, cultural environment. I have been a faithful listener for ten years. Your station continuously improves, and provides the best possible quality and array of offerings. Thank you, station staff and supporters, for all you do. You are the best !  - Carolyn J. Heiligman

I was a regular listener to KOSU in Cushing, but I have started listening to KCSC over the internet. My school building is constructed with materials that limit the stations my FM radio can receive. I can listen to your station in my school library and not be concerned about what the students might overhear during their time in the library. - Elbert Wells

Happy Hanuka from Newton Ma. Great music, from a 1st time listener  - Moshe Gerstenhaber

I listen to this radio station in Finland, the city of Turku. It´s very good and relaxing classical music. :)  - Marko Jakonen

Just a quick word to say "Hi" to Kent and Brad. I was a student at OCU in 1983-5 and worked off-on for the station, usually at (the proably long forgotten) KBLZ-cable-FM. I worked in radio as a DJ/PD/Sales for over 17 years for stations in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas before I became tired of the grind and started working for my parents business. I havent seen the KCSC studios since I graduated so I'll try to visit when I'm in the area, hopefully this fall or next year.  - Billy G. Spradlin

Have been listening to your station since I was a kid. Always loved it. I have come to know your employees as well and have made some good friends. Wishing you all the best for years to come. Yours truly, Steve Filkins  - Steve Filkins

I found your program on film music about a year ago on station WEPS, Elgin, Il. (a suburb of Chicago). We enjoy not only the music, but, the added dialog that your host iterjects. Could you email the stations in the Chicago area that carry your programs? Thanks Paul and Judy Carlson  - Paul and Judy Carlson

Now this is what I call radio. For me, radio resurrects by TCP/IP-media! I listen from Luxembourg, this way also learning about those real americans from minnesota! Long time I have had so much fun. If i'm near, i'll be sure to visit the show. Thank you all and may god bless you for the cultural balsam. Thank you so much. (And please, do stay online...) MaCK Music One Studios 18:54:50 7/28/2003 Thanks for providing a wonderful source of music listening. Cheers from the staff at www.musiconestudios.net  - MaCK

Best wishes from Norway to a fantastic classical music station. As we are 7 hours ahead of you, I mostly listen to your "morning hours". - Rolf Syvertsen

I enjoy the music and the site carries on the same tradition. - Cara J. Hendrix

I love this station. It's especially nice to listen to while at work. Hope you will play more Baroque. Love, Paula  - Paula

I am glad to see people promoting classical music! Keep it up! If you want to visit another classical music website, visit my site: http://home.att.net/~halgashome/wsb/html/view.cgi-home.html-.html  - Drew

There is no where else that I know of where I can hear the quality of music that the KCSC staff tirelessly puts on air on a daily basis. So far in this fund drive (March 2004), I've heard 3 pieces that we (or I) played while a member of Edmond High School band. Arnold's 4 Scottish Dances, Respighi's Roman Festivals, and the Bach Suite 2 in B minor. I sure hope you get the amount of money needed to keep everything going. I do not think I could stand it at work or home, or on morning and evening drive, if KSCS wasn't there for me. Keep up the great work! Always glad to help you out, whether with money or time.  - Robin

I'm writing to you from Haverhill, Massachusetts, 40 miles north of Boston. Thanks so much for your wonderful 24-hour- a-day classical music.  - Robert Ventre

I attended then CSU and was doing an airshift on KCSC in the fall of 1971 and spring of '72 I believe. I went on to become a TV announcer on Channel 34 KGMC-TV in the mid 80's, and was on camera talent for the Big 8 Ford Dealerships as well. I am still a disc jockey working at a nightclub and part-time on air personality and voice-over talent in the Los Angeles area. Got some great training there at KCSC. Just a note of station history, I was on the air one afternoon and had to "rip and read" the news bulletin that the Democratic Headquarters in the Watergate Hotel had been broken into and that then President Nixon was suspected of directing the "Watergate Plumbers" to burgalarize the place! That's how far I go back. Keep up the good work. Just thought I'd say hi.  - David Byrd

I listen to KCSC at work and in my car constantly! I'm glad the pledge drive was successful. We need to keep classical music alive in Oklahoma City!  - Terri McGugan

My sympathy to you all on the loss of Dave Stanton. I have been in Oklahoma for 10 years, and enjoying your wonderful music, and especially listening to Dave Stanton since I arrived. He will be greatly missed. - Emily Conrad

KCSC has an exceptionally talented weekend classics announcer in Lane Whitesell. Not only is his voice a perfect blend but his knowledge of the classics is outstanding. His internet book store lanesbooks.com is an amazing commercial labor of literary love on Lane's part. All should check it out and appreciate that UCO has such a talented person who is also a chemistry professor! - Robert C. Grupe

The music KCSC plays makes a big impact on the listeners. The work you all have done on the station is really appreciated. Hopefully, more of the young wll listen and will appreciate the art of classical music. And good work barbara on the film scapes intermission. !Fanstatico! - Robert Wiser

Great Station. I like it that I can still listen to it when I am at the office through RealAudio stream. Keep up the excellent work. US Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer (ret) - Anthony

Your station is a Godsend! Your selections are terrific, especially around the holidays with the incorporation of Christmas music. Many thanks! - Elisabeth, Washington DC

I just wanted to let you know that I too mourn the loss of Dave Stanton. His voice on KCSC along with his intelligent and thoughtful comments were a soothing part of my day - even in times of stress and illness. I'm sure I join with many other listeners who feel that we have lost a valued friend.  - Molly Roberts

I live in Ponca City OK and love your programming. Keep up the good work. - William Robinson

Your station keeps me steady and calm while driving the crowded roads of Edmond! - Aletha Lingo

I love listening to you at work! Since I'm in Dallas now, the internet is the only place I can get you. It's a real taste of home for me -- love you guys! NanO - Nan O'Neill

I just wanted the listeners and station workers to know that Dave Stanton will truly be missed. He was my friend, choir mate at church and radio personality when I listened to the station. He was a wonderful man. . . truly a wonderful man! - Cheryl B

Thank you for providing such wonderful music online! I'm from Oklahoma City but am now stationed in Ft. Hood, TX. Now, I can listen to my favorite station online! Sincerely, Christopher  - Christopher Daugherty

Thank you so much for your beautiful tribute to Dave. When I first met him, I was delighted to find that he was every bit as kind and gentle as he sounded on the radio. He was a good friend and I will miss him. Carole Farris -

Love you guys. I'm so thankful that I have a classical music station to listen to in OKC.  - lizzi

KCSC-FM was great for us while I was serving this great nation in Iraq. Our military men and women from Oklahoma were proud to be able to claim this fine radio station was from the Great State of Oklahoma in a foreign land. I challenge all military personnel to contribute to the continuation of this radio station as a beacon of culture and what is right about America and Oklahoma! Filmscapes was our most popular program. For me, it was hearing the Metropolitan Opera and Filmscapes! - Stephen A. Peterson, PhD

Dave Stanton...what a voice and what a terrific person. He will be missed by many. I have tuned in since 1986 and continue to find your programming and staff wonderfully chosen. I feel with the addition of Stanton in the 80's you put the station on par with anyone's in the world. Keep up the outstanding work.  - Nick Barnhill
